Every response is opportunity.
If they respond with: "My life insurance is with MetLife"... Great ask them when they got it, and how much coverage... This gives you an angle to say "Oh, yeah you wrote that years ago, has anything changed in the last 6 years? Most people grab a secondary or third policy by this point because so many things have changed"
If they respond with: "I have my life insurance through work"... Then go down the path of "Yeah, but what if you leave that job", or "do you know how much your work provides, because its usually less than one year of your salary".
If they respond with: "I don't have any"... Well I shouldn't have to tell you what to do there... Take the wheel and sell some life.
